I wanted to do something completely different today, which may unfortunately be uninteresting to all of you. I've been toying with this idea so much, and I figured I would just give into the desire. Some of you may know that I was a graphic design student for the last 3 and a half years of my life, have a love of both analog and digital photography and also work part-time for an app design company. Most of you likely did not know this about me. Why would you?

I'm the kind of person that needs to be almost constantly creatively stimulated. I love crafting, drawing, sewing, photography, collages, cooking. I just seem to always need that outlet. Makeup in a sense is an extension of that.

As this is what I've so kindly taglined a personal makeup, lifestyle and whatever-else blog I thought it would seem fitting to incorporate a few snapshots of my personal sketchbook. Last night, I realized I reached the last page, and although the vast majority of it is not shared, these are some things worth seeing. It's a little chaotic, confusing, ugly and yet could be mildly interesting to a few of you. I don't think I'm an artist, or that any of these works are anything special, but this is a collection of my visual thoughts. So here are some snippets:

There's something really special about seeing inside of another person's sketchbook. It's like reading a diary or listening to music. For that reason, I don't want to share a lot of the contents of this book. But I hope this small glimpse shows you a side of me you may not have known. I'm really excited to see who I become on my next journey.
